Flower Glow Tea | Tea Review

Flowers Glow Tea is a small tea company that focuses on tea to help your hair grow. Today, I am just analyzing the quality and taste of the tea, not how it works. If you want, you can look further into their results on their Instagram page: flower_glow_tea. Here are my thoughts:

Analyzation of the Tea:

Hair & Nails Tea: This tea took me by surprise, and took my lungs/nose by surprise. I always start a tea process by smelling the product, which did not end well in this case. I was not expecting it to be spicy, as I took a large whiff of the tea bag after opening it and was coughing my lungs out for a few minutes after. It was very spicy smelling and I could really smell the rosemary and black pepper. This tea tasted very spicy and I could feel the spice going down my throat, which actually felt great and was quite soothing. I could really taste the Rosemary in the tea and it really reminded me of rosemary bread or olive oil bread dip, which is interesting to think of when drinking tea. I used to have a tea that was similar in taste and the taste is definitely something to get used to, but can be quite comforting. It is uniquely spicy. In regards to its hair and growth claims, I think if it works (I cannot attest to if it does or does not) it seems a much more natural and healthy way then that of Hair supplements like Sugar Bear Hair which is full of additives and sugar.

Ingredients: Horsetail, Hibiscus, Bamboo, Cayenne, Catnip, Yumberry, Black Currant, Nettle Leaf, Rosemary, Elder Flower, Black Tea, Thyme, Basil, Sage, Chamomile, Lemon Grass, Jasmine Green Tea, Lemon, Ginger, Pomegranate, Matcha Green Tea

Analyzation of the Price:

According to Flowers Glow Tea, a month’s supply is $25. That calculates to $0.83 per day. Each tea brews 2 cups, so I am assuming that you would get 15 tea bags in one pouch (I got samples so I am unable to report on packaging and pouches beyond that of samples). The pricing definitely seems reasonable to me, as long as the claims meet the results. This tea can be purchased currently by making a request via emailing FlowersGlowTea@gmail.com. They are currently working on a website, but it is still being built and is not usable yet! I will update this review when their site goes live!

Analyzation of the Packaging:

The overall quality of the packaging was very nice, there was no leakage of the aroma coming out of the bag (which is awesome!). But I did see a few inconsistencies in regards to the package branding and instructions. The instructions on the packaging confused me and I think the math was slightly off. Boil 25 ounces of water which then makes two 10 ounce cups of tea. What happens to the 5 ounces of water?? Does it go missing? Joking aside, it was probably a small typo. However, it did confuse me quite a lot when I was tired and trying to make this tea. One other comment I have on the packaging is the way that the ingredients are listed. I would have preferred to have the black tea, matcha green tea, and jasmine green tea listed at the front of the list instead of in the middle and end. Normally that is done so people know there is caffeine in a certain tea. I started making this tea right before bed, then realized that there were caffeinated ingredients, and ended up putting the tea in the fridge for the morning. Also, Nettle Leaf on the packaging was called Nattle leaf.

When building up a brand, the product you put out is important but so is how you are displaying the brand. In this case, I liked the product (and if it works then I think this is a wonderful alternative to getting your hair long and luscious), but the branding on the packaging does need a bit of work! I hope you guys enjoyed this review! Until next time, Happy Brewing!
