Exploring Heart Chakra Tea | Kure Tea

Candice started Kure Tea in March 2020, specializing in herbal tea and coffee Blends. They also have a Chakra tea line based on the 7 chakras. She wanted to share her herbal remedies to enable nurturing through nature for others after finding calming herbal teas to help soothe her and calm her stress and anxiety. With a Bachelor’s in Food Science and Technology as well as experience in Quality, it felt like a calling.

She sent me a sample of each of her teas and large boxes of her Heart Chakra and Medatative Moringa tea blends. Unfortunately, I cannot have her moringa blend due to my Thyroid issues, so this review is solely focusing on the Heart Chakra Blend. Here are my thoughts:

Heart Chakra

I wasn’t sure what to expect from a chakra tea but the ingredient list seemed very promising from the very beginning. The aroma of this tea was quite floral, with evident hints of jasmine and rose petals. The rose petals gave the tea a smoothness that really complimented the entire experience. The leaves were whole leaf, and I was actually quite impressed with the look of the ingredients as well. They did not seem squished or small, but looked to be high quality. I noticed a body reaction when taking sips of this tea. A shiver of heat transferred over my body as I swallowed the tea. I felt it in my spine and along my back. It was similar to the feeling of being warmed up, even though I was quite comfy with my blanket on in my house. The actual taste of the tea was lovely. Jasmine Green tea and rose petals are both ingredients I normally look to for a calming effect, and both really help together quite nicely in this tea. It was pretty light in taste with some really nice light jasmine notes. I noticed a slightly different note a couple of times when sipping and thought it might be the hawthorn, but overall it was simple and dainty.

Ingredients: Organic Hawthorn Berries, Organic Jasmine Pearls, Organic Rose Petals

Price: For $15, it looks like you get 10 servings of tea. This tea can be steeped multiple times to continue to keep you sipping throughout the day.

Packaging: Normally when I see packaging like this, I expect tea bags so I was greatly surprised when I opened the package and found some loose leaf tea securely in the bags. I found the same consistency in the Meditative Moringa blend as well.

Kure Tea is very environmentally focused and discloses the following information about their tea bags: The tea bags are made with PLA filtered media a biodegradable, non- gmo material sourced from sugar cane. This patented filter technology is compostable in 21 days or less, 100% USDA BioBased and certified plastic free.

Sourcing: They do not list specific locations of where their tea is from but they state that their tea is sourced in compliance with fair-trade and economic sustainability practices.

What are your thoughts? Do you know anything about the chakras and do you have any special tea blends you consume to help? Let me know, Happy Brewing!
